Hot Sulphur Springs Real Estate: Building Again After the Moratorium
Hot Sulphur Springs adopted a moratorium on new development permits in January 2021, after building activity outran the town's water and sewer capacity. The town lifted it by emergency ordinance on April 16, 2026, once the infrastructure problem had been addressed.
The Himebaugh HOA property is not included in the lift. If you are looking at land, confirm which side of that line a parcel sits on and what water and sewer service it actually has.
